中学知识：as well as就近还是就远

as well as意思是“既……又……”、“此外”。其遵循的是就远原则，即谓语动词要与该结构前面的主语保持一致。除了as well as还有but，besides，as much as，along with，in addition to等也要遵循就远原则。

当as well as连接两个成分作主语时，其后位于的单复数形式通常要与前面一个主语保持一致。

(1)The teacher as well as the students is friendly.

老师和学生都很友好。

(2)Tom as well as his parents is going to London.

汤姆和他的父母要去伦敦。

(3)The captain as well as the other player was tired.

队长和其他球员都累了。
