中学知识：be used to和used to的区别

used to表示过去的习惯性动作，过去如此，现在不再这样了。常译作“过去常常”。be used to表示“被用来做某事”。used to是“过去常常做什么”，后接动词原形。be used to是“习惯做什么”，后接名词和动名词(ing)。

1、It cannot be used to bond wood to metal.

这不能把木料粘贴在金属上。

2、Computer software can be used to simulate conditions on the seabed.

计算机软件可用于模拟海底状况。

3、The money will be used to regenerate the commercial heart of the town.

这笔钱将用来进展壮大市镇的商业中心。

1、It's very different to what I'm used to.

这与我所习惯的大不相同。

2、We're used to the noise from the traffic now.

现在我们已经适应车辆往来的噪音了。

3、All I know is that she used to work in a bank.

我只知道她曾在银行工作过。
